"stand by me" really hits me hard. esp at the end when gordie writes "I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve". gotta agree cuz those friends i made at twelve were uh....memorable? that is definitely not the word to describe it though haha. maybe something like unforgettable. like no other ppl can replace them even though some of them were really evil like fuck but there are friends that i ~♥love♥~ very much cuz....whatever. im hopeless at this.
gordie and chris are my favourite characters in the movie and i was kinda affected when chris died in it (what is it with my favourites being chris and dying? first skins and now this). river phoenix (actor who played chris) in real life is as dead as chris in the film.
